About

History

I began Keith Bunting Social Care in 2018 combining my work as a trainer with continuing to work as a frontline care professional. The training side of my work has very much taken over in recent months. I have worked in social care since 2007. I have worked in Children’s Homes as both a Deputy Manager and as a Registered Manager, working with children from backgrounds of abuse and neglect and with children with Autism. More recently, I have worked with adults with Autism and associated Learning Disabilities. I began working in the field of training in February 2017 completing an Award in Education and Training whilst working.

My vision for Keith Bunting Social Care is to provide high quality, affordable and relevant training to staff working in the social care sector. I want your staff to come out of my training sessions having learnt something, not just ‘got another certificate.’ My objective when I train is to pass on my knowledge, my values and my experiences (including the mistakes I have made) within my training.

I am a one-person operation and will remain that way. If you contact me to discuss training I will be your first point of contact you will deal with and I will also be your trainer. That means the quality and consistency of training is assured. If you want something specific tailored to the needs of your organisation, you can discuss that with me.

Pricing Information

The prices on the site are a guide. All 3 hour courses can be booked as a pair or alongside another 3 hour course to take advantage of a better value full day rate.

Discounts will be considered for block bookings. If you wish to discuss any specific requirements you may have, for example, rates for an induction package for new staff, then please get in touch.

If you have a specific training requirement not detailed on the site, again please get in touch using the contact link and I will be happy to accommodate your requirements if I am able to. If not, I may be able to put you in touch with somebody who can.

Payment and Certification Details

Course payments will be due upon completion of the course. For accredited courses such as FAW and EFAW, I have to pay for the certificates from the accrediting organisation, and for that reason certificates for all courses will be issued upon receipt of payment.

Cancellation Policy

For group bookings, if a course is cancelled within 14 days of the course date, you will remain liable for half of the course fee. If the course is cancelled within 7 days of the course date, you will remain liable for the full course fee unless I am able to deploy my services elsewhere. This will be stated in the training contracts. Refunds for individual bookings where payments are made in advance will be judged on the reason for cancellation.
